Mat 5:18
Understand: that Greek and Hebrew words have meanings which include implied conceptual inferences. These meanings may also include concepts which affect other words. The English translation must provide these inferences, concepts, and affects too. Thus, you need to read much longer sentences, to ensure you are provided with all of the translation information.
Remarks
This verse is talking about Hebrew character-strokes. Yahoshua is emphatically saying that not even one stroke will "pass-by", until all of the character-strokes as a singular-composition "have-become-itself" manifested.

Full and Conceptual Translation
Rough Translation: truly, for since, (I) now speaking, you-all, until (that time), (conceptually imagine that sky and land can move and "pass-by"), has-passed-by, [that thing] the sky-heaven, and, [that thing] the land-earth, (not any type-of) small letter, (forming a) oneness, or, '1', little (pen) stroke, (emphatically) no, reject even the thought of, (that the character-strokes as a singular-unit) has-passed-by, away from, of [that thing] the teaching (conceptualized by the focus subject, the character-strokes as a singular-composition), until (that time), (conceptually imagine that character-strokes can move and "pass-by"), all (that belongs to the focus subject, the character-strokes), (itself) has become into existence

More English-like Translation
Truly, for since I now speaking [to] you-all: until (that time when) (conceptually) has-passed-by (that-thing-the) sky-heaven and (that-thing-the) land-earth; (not any type-of) small letter [forming a] oneness, or one small (pen) stroke: emphatically no! reject even the thought (that the character-strokes as a singular-unit) has-passed-by away from (that-thing-the) teaching (conceptualized by the character-strokes as a singular-composition), until (that time when) (conceptually) all (character-strokes) has-become-itself manifested.

Please Use an Interlinear Hebrew/Greek Bible and Lexicons
For the important scriptures, examine the grammar and look up the original words in a Lexicon.
Do this, and you will be stunned how many times the English Bibles disregard the grammar. By disregarding the grammar they change the meaning of the words, and by doing this they change the meaning of the sentences.

What Do You Need To Study the Bible From the Original Texts?

• Hebrew and Greek Interlinear Bible (buy a book):
• Online Hebrew and Greek Interlinears:

• Online Searching with Grammar and Lexicon Helps:

When reading the Interlinear's English, when a word seems to be important, then look it up in the Lexicon and Grammar helps. You are not a Hebrew or Greek expert, so let the Lexicons and Grammar helps be the experts for you. Do this, and you will see for yourself how often the English translators disregard the original Text to promote their own doctrines. You will be aghast at the number of times they blatantly insert additional words, completely ignore the grammar, and choose their own wording just to slant the reader's understanding. However, your own understanding of the original Scriptures will be greatly enhanced!
